Rosalin offers evidence based psychological services, including well recognised focused psychological strategies such as cognitive behavioural therapy, psycho-education, interpersonal therapy, relaxation and stress management techniques and skills training. She also uses elements of gestalt therapy and attachment theory, especially when helping clients with self-regulation and somatic sensing, very useful in treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
You can self-refer or seek referral from a GP under a mental health plan, in which case subsidies apply. You might also be able to get third party subsidies or be fully covered by organisations such as NDIS, Workcover and Victims of Crime. Private health organisations often have subsidies for psychological services and they vary from one health insurer to another. For accurate information, call your insurer to be assured your plan supports you.
Recovery from trauma and help with life transitions are reasons to seek psychological help. Rosalin works with people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss as well as people who have lost contact with their children or are mired in family law disputes. Veterans are welcome and are usually fully covered by DVA funding.
Rosalin is an NDIS verified service provider and accredited with DVA, Workcover, Victim Assist QLD and Medicare. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Queensland and has Child Mental Health qualifications.
TELEHEALTH is now funded by the Commonwealth under mental health plans on a permanent basis, so if you are comfortable with electronic means of communication, it’s not necessary to leave home to get psychological support. Service can be delivered by phone, Zoom, Facetime or Skype.
